I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.

Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually happening.
